Here’s your crash course in “Bridget”...

  1. :Computer nerd [PC & Mac; Word/Excel/Powerpoint and their iWork equivalents; social media, basic web development & html, basic photo & graphic editing, basic music editing, problem solving, lateral thinking and general g33kiness]

  2. :General nerd [Problem-solving, lateral thinking and general g33kiness beyond the computer: sorting, rearranging, optimising and the likes. All about efficiency and presentation. Attention to detail. Smarter not harder, as they say]

  3. :“Brand Champion”. I very much understand the importance of presentation, perception and stakeholder loyalty. All about the communication - confident and comfortable in person, in writing, over the phone or in front of a crowd. Gift of the gab. Extensive writing experience [articles, proposals, newsletters, press releases, branding material, blogs, etc]. Lots of writing. Often.

  4. :Passionate advocate for the planet and its inhabitants [though a slight anxiety around large birds]

  5. :I can slip right in to a team environment as a “team-player”, work independently as a “self-starter” or step up as required as a “natural leader”. I’m good at inspiring, empowering, motivating and getting people or projects moving. Initiative in spades.

  6. :I can work alongside grown-ups or take the lead with kids & young adults. Not worried about getting my hands dirty either.

  7. :I can streamline, analyse and disseminate data, reasearch facts and stats, type far too fast for my own good [sometimes without looking] and I always strive to do the best job I can.

  8. :Fast learner / Music dweeb / Vegan foodie / Coffee snob / Smiling face to brighten your day - zing!

Here’s what I always like to be working towards:

  1. :Contributing my skills, experience and enthusiasm to a cause or organisation working to promote sustainabilty, creativity, musical amazingness, better choices, community improvement, support for those in need, educational motivation, planetary rehabilitation or similar.

  2. :Part-time-ish (8 - 21 hours, give or take)... though open to more or less hours for the “right” role(s)

  3. :Days of the week can be flexible, project length can be too [casual/free-lance/contract/ongoing]

  4. :Ideally based in East or North London [Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Islington, etc]. Keep it local, innit.

Drop me a line. You know you want to. [I also like to bake & share. Just sayin’]
